In your CMS you can now cache your pages. This allows a faster loading for visitors that come back to your pages.
Please note: For now this setting is only available for WWF websites (CMS subsites) that are on our peggy server. But don't worry, it will be soon available for everyone.
You have 3 settings:
- Do not cache: in case you don’t want to cache your page at all. This is the default setting for the existing and new pages that you create, however i’s adviced to not use this option, because it may take longer for the pages to load.
- Create cache when page is published: The cache will only be updated whenever the page is published (using the Publish button). This setting is ideal for a page where the cache only has to be updated when the page content itself changes, for instance on pages with static content (most of the pages are static).
- Update cache every 15 minutes: This setting is ideal for pages that need to be updated every 15 minutes, for instance News pages or pages with other dynamic content.
